Black buffalo horn earrings

Behind the obvious surface of our polished horn trinkets are naturally grown horns, each with its very own growth rings, marks and scratches. These black square earrings are made from the horns of domesticated water buffaloes and showcase parts of their individual story.

Now that I am writing these lines, the music of Ignea in the background, holding the earrings in my hand and thinking about their origin - I can almost feel the calm power of these magnificent animals.

Natural horn is very resilient and still super light. Together with the wonderful texture it is the perfect material for making lovely horn jewellery. Please keep in mind that thanks to the natural grain of the horn itself, each piece of horn jewellery is unique in terms of colour and texture.
