Here we have some very nice stuff again! These earrings are completely made of buffalo horn, so they are entirely black. And because utter blackness would be kind of boring, the inner part is brushed instead of polished, so it almost looks like dark slate.
This gives this lovely set of horn jewellery a strong impression of contrast.
Additionally, the parts are loosely mounted together to cause eye-catching movement.

Real horn is very tough and light as a feather. Considering the natural grain, it is the perfect material for making excellent horn jewellery. The horns are from domesticated water buffaloes Bubalus bubalis, since we do not use wild animals for wildlife conservation reasons.
